Children
Sunday School begins at 10:00 a.m. for preschoolers and elementary school children.
We want your child to see the love of Christ through the care they receive when they are with us.
We hope to provide a safe, loving, clean, and creative environment.

Two ushers will take all children whose families choose for them to attend childcare to Harken Hall in Room 116.
Pre-School Sunday School
3 to 4-year-olds meet in Room #115 of Harken Hall
This age group will be exploring Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments.
K – 5th Grade Rotation Stations
Sunday School
Kindergarten – 5th graders meet on the third floor of the Massie Building.
Children in Kindergarten through fifth grade will use a curriculum where they will rotate through a variety of learning stations as they study a particular Bible story every four to six weeks. The children will begin each week in Room 302 for music and a Bible story. Some of the rotation rooms will include art, recreation, mission, drama, cooking, spiritual disciplines, and science.
Each group of children will be assigned a Shepherd who will lead them to their rotation room each week.
Kirk Club
Kirk Club, which is what we call our LOGOS program, has become an essential part of our ministry to children, youth, and their families here at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church since we initiated it in 2000. It provides us with a proven, creative, and enjoyable way for parents and the church to become partners in helping our children learn and experience what it means to be children of God and disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are living in a day when many influences and pressures are working to shape the minds and lives of our young people. We have concerns, as do you, for the spiritual and moral development of our children. Therefore, we strongly encourage all of you to enroll your children and youth in Kirk Club. We realize that this program asks a lot in the form of both time and energy on the part of the young people involved, their parents and the program’s many volunteers. However, what could be more important than the spiritual foundation we provide our children and youth, especially in a world where so many distractions, temptations and challenges are facing them every day?
You do not need to be a member of First (Scots) in order to participate in Kirk Club and/or in the Children and Youth Choirs.
Please think of your friends and neighbors and encourage anyone who might be interested to join us.
